- Please check for your verification email on the same mobile device where you downloaded BreatheIQ™. If you don't see the verification email in your inbox, check your spam folder. Click on the verification link in the email to successfully complete.

Can both my sleep partner and I use the same login/email for the BreatheIQ™ app?
No, BreatheIQ™ requires each individual to have their own login for the app. You can easily create your own login using a different email address by following instructions below:- If you are already logged in, first, log out of the BreatheIQ™ app on your mobile device (in the Settings tab, scroll to the bottom of the page to log out).
- Then create a new BreatheIQ™ account by entering a new email address and finish setting up your account.
Only for Smart Sleepers using Sleep Number® app: If you share your login with your sleep partner, you can easily create your own login by following the instructions below: - If you are already logged in, first, log out of the BreatheIQ™ app on your mobile device (in the Settings tab, scroll to the bottom of the page to log out).
- Open the Sleep Number app to create your own individual login.
- On the Sleep tab, select the sleeper who needs to create a login.
- Navigate to the Profile tab and select 'Account Settings' in the right-hand corner.
- Follow the steps to 'Create Login' by entering the email address for the sleeper you want to create an account for.
- The sleeper will need to verify their email to set up their own username and password.

How do I ensure I get the best measurement results?
- Place your smartphone about 20 inches from you at head height.
- Connect your phone to a charger during measurement.
- Make sure you don't cover your phone with your blanket or pillow.
- Close windows and minimize noise in your bedroom.
- Close any audio-playing applications during your measurement.
- Measurement results upload throughout the night. Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi and turn off battery optimization settings to make sure the processing is most efficient.

How many measurements do I need to take?
- Since your snoring and breathing irregularities can change night over night, it is best to take several measurements to establish a baseline. You may also learn more about your snore over time by continuing to measure.

Can I see my previous results?
- You can monitor your snoring over time using your BreatheIQ™ app. You can view your previous results in the calendar on the Results tab or by navigating right/left using the arrows at the top of the screen.

Can I listen to the previous sleep sounds?
- You will be able to listen to sleep sounds for your last 10 measurements.
- Please note if you uninstall and reinstall your BreatheIQ™ app, you will no longer be able to listen to your sleep sounds. Take another measurement to listen to your sleep.

Why did I receive a “No snore data” message?
It's likely the measurement did not contain clear breathing. Below are tips to ensure a successful measurement.
- If you sleep with a partner, take a joint measurement so the app can identify who is snoring. See Measure with a sleep partner.
- Place smartphone about 20 inches from you at head height.
- Make sure you don't cover your phone with your blanket or pillow.
- Reduce ambient noise in your bedroom.
- Ensure you are measuring for longer than two hours.
- Listening to audio-playing applications (or using voice assist) may interfere with your measurement.

Why couldn’t my measurement be evaluated?
- There are a few reasons your measurement could not be evaluated including if your measurement was less than 2 hours, you took a joint measurement but did not have enough overlapping time with your partner’s measurement, or a technical failure. Ensure you are following the steps given before you take a measurement.

Can BreatheIQ™ tell if it is me or my sleep partner snoring?
- If you have a sleep partner, encourage them to take their own free snore measurement with you. By taking a joint measurement, BreatheIQ™ can distinguish where the snoring originates, without you and your partner having to sleep in separate bedrooms.
- If you and your partner both snore, you may hear their snoring, breathing or other environmental sounds in your playback.

How can I disconnect a sleep partner?
- If you need to disconnect your accounts for any reason, click the “Disconnect” button next to your sleep partner’s name when starting a measurement.
- BreatheIQ™ does not keep a history of sleep partners.

Is there an age limit to using BreatheIQ™ and BreatheIQ+™?
- To use the BreatheIQ™ app, you must be 18 years or older.
- To use to the BreatheIQ+™ paid plan, you must be 22 years or older.

Will deleting my BreatheIQ™ account delete my Sleep Number® account?
- No. Deleting your BreatheIQ™ account will not delete your Sleep Number® account.
- You can request to delete your BreatheIQ™ account by submitting a request to delete at www.sleepnumber.com/privacy-form or by contacting customer service at 1-800-554-0184.

Will my BreatheIQ™ app still take a measurement and run in the background if I lock my device?
- When taking a measurement, BreatheIQ™ will prevent your mobile device from locking to ensure the best experience. You can still manually lock your device, although you may experience issues with your measurement being interrupted.

When does my BreatheIQ+™ plan take effect after I upgrade? ·
- Your BreatheIQ+™ plan takes effect right away. After your next measurement, you will receive your BreatheIQ+™ results and learn more about your breathing irregularities. For Smart Sleepers with a Sleep Number® smart bed, you will begin receiving your RespiratoryIQ™ level within your Sleep Number® app.

I upgraded to BreatheIQ+™. Why am I not seeing the upgraded features?
- When purchasing upgrades through Apple or Google, occasionally the upgrade features of an app are missing.
- Follow the steps below to try to resolve:
- Open your BreatheIQ™ app
- Go to the Settings tab
- Tap "Manage My Plan"
- Tap "See Plans"
- Under the Purchase BreatheIQ+™ button, tap "Restore Purchase"
- If you cannot restore your purchase, make sure you are signed in with the same Apple or Google account that you used to make the purchase.
- If you are still experiencing issues and were charged but cannot restore your purchase, contact customer support by sending an email to BreatheIQsupport@sleepnumberhealth.com and include your proof of purchase.

Will I be able to see my results from previous measurements after I upgrade to BreatheIQ+™?
- Yes. You will continue to have access to your previous BreatheIQ™ results while you are upgraded to BreatheIQ+™.

Will my BreatheIQ™ data move to BreatheIQ+™ when I upgrade?
- Yes. You will continue to be able to access your previous BreatheIQ™ result after you upgrade.

Will my BreatheIQ+™ plan be auto renewed?
- Yes, your BreatheIQ+™ plan will renew based on your selected payment plan. You can cancel at any time. See Canceling my BreatheIQ+™ Plan for more information.

Does my BreatheIQ+™ plan apply to me and my sleep partner?
- Your BreatheIQ+™ plan measures your individual breathing irregularities and provides you with your personal results.
- Your sleep partner may use the free version of the BreatheIQ™ app to support you in your partner measurement. They will not see your BreatheIQ+™ data nor receive their own breathing irregularities assessment unless they also upgrade to BreatheIQ+™.

Does my sleep partner get data under my BreatheIQ+™ plan?
- Your sleep partner will always get a snore assessment even if they don’t upgrade to BreatheIQ+™. However, they will not get breathing irregularity assessment unless they too upgrade to BreatheIQ™+.

How do I receive RespiratoryIQ™ data?
- RespiratoryIQ™ is a feature within your Sleep Number® app. It is included when you sign up for a BreatheIQ+™ paid plan, as a Sleep Number® smart bed owner. The requirements to get RespiratoryIQ™ data are:
- Upgrade to BreatheIQ+™.
- Use the Sleep Number® app with your Sleep Number® smart bed.
- Turn off privacy mode in the Sleep Number® app to ensure your sleep data is collected.
- Requires 7-10 nights of sleep data to begin receiving your RespiratoryIQ™ level.

Why don’t my breathing irregularities and snore charts match?
- Not every snoring sound corresponds to a breathing irregularity event for people with breathing irregularities. That’s why the charts cannot be directly compared. BreatheIQ™ measures snoring intensity separately from breathing irregularities. The snoring intensity can serve as a first hint to take a closer look at breathing irregularities. However, if someone doesn’t snore, it doesn’t mean they can’t have breathing irregularities. And vice versa, heavy snorers do not always experience breathing irregularities, and people with minimal snoring can still have breathing interruptions.
