Doorstep Delivery: Sleep Number 360® Stylish Frame/Integrated Base with Mattress

Use the assembly guide below for any Sleep Number® 360 smart bed. A 360 smart bed has a label located on the side of the bed (see image below). Visit this page if you are looking for the Sleep Number smart bed set-up guide.

Before you begin

• We recommend having two people complete set-up.
• If you haven't already, download the Sleep Number® app from your device's app store.
• Register your Sleep Number account and smart bed after downloading the Sleep Number app. You will need your order number and the email address you used when you order to complete registration.

Set-up Overview

The below set-up guide will show you through how to assemble any Sleep Number 360 smart bed model, integrated base, and stylish frame.

Smart bed assembly can take up to 30 minutes to complete. The set-up guide will walk you through three phases of setup:

1. Assemble your smart bed.
2. Get your smart bed online with the Sleep Number app.
   
3. Start sleeping better tonight.

1. Assemble your smart bed

Set up your Stylish Frame

Skip this process if you did not purchase a stylish frame.

1. Lay out all five pieces. Place the sides on the ground with the plastic holders facing the inside of the frame.
2. Attach the center cross brace to the side rails. Lower to click into place.
3. Attach head and foot cross braces after center support is secure.
4. Make sure all pieces are level and securely attached.
5. Apply adhesive foot pads to prevent scratching a hard floor surface (if desired).

Set up your Integrated Base

Skip this process if you did not purchase an integrated base.

1. Position both sleeper left and right box frames standing on edge outside of frame. Law labels should be at the head of the bed and hose opening should be at the bottom of the base. 
   

   

2. Unbox the Smart Control System and place it on the floor near the head of the bed and connect to the outlet. Connect the hoses and power cord.
3. Guide hoses under the frame. When standing at the foot of the bed sleeper left is on your right side and sleeper right is on your left side.
   

   

4. While each base is on its side insert hoses through openings at the hip of the base until they exit on the other side of the base.
   • Sleeper Left: White Hose
   • Sleeper Right:  Blue Hose
     

     

5. Use clips provided to connect both left and right hoses.
   

   

6. Lay bases down and confirm they are seated properly on the stylish frame (if applicable).
   

   

Set up your mattress

1. Remove the mattress from the bag and locate its product label.
2. Place the mattress on your bed frame or base with the label positioned at the foot of the bed.

   

3. If you have an integrated base: Starting on either side, lift the edge of the mattress and locate the slit providing access to the inside of the mattress. There is a slit at the hip of the bed where the air nozzle is located. Remove the cap and connect the air hose to the mattress. Repeat on the other side.

2. Get Your Bed Online with the Sleep Number® App

If you already have a Sleep Number® smart bed and you are not getting online for the first time, skip this process.

Finish bed setup: Get your bed online for the first time

1. Make sure your bed is set up and no one is in it when you get started.
2. Open the Sleep Number® app and tap "Smart Bed."
3. Tap "Finish Setup" and follow the steps. This may take 5 to 10 minutes.
4. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your password. Make sure your router is within 40 feet of your smart bed and your internet service is connected.
5. Stay next to your bed until the process is complete.

Get another bed online

1. Open the Sleep Number® app and tap "Profile."
2. Tap the account settings icon in the top right corner.
3. Under "My Orders", find the bed you want to set up and tap "Complete Registration." Add sleeper profiles if you haven't yet. If you have already set up sleeper profiles, select the bed you want to get online from the "Smart Bed" tab.
4. Tap "Finish Setup" and follow the steps. This may take up to 5 to 10 minutes.
5. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your password. Make sure your router is within 40 feet of your bed and your internet service is connected.
6. Stay next to your bed until the process is complete.

Set up your remote

Skip this process if you did not purchase a remote.

1. Insert two AA batteries into the back of your remote.
2. Follow the prompts on your remote to complete the pairing process.

3. Start Sleeping Better Tonight

Use your Sleep Number® app or remote to find your Sleep Number setting. Visit our support site if you need help finding your Sleep Number setting. It's normal for your Sleep Number setting to be different than the one you found in the store.
