- Place upholstered furniture away from direct sunlight and heat sources when possible. Sunlight and heat can fade or damage fabric over time.
- Vacuum or lightly brush upholstery often with a non-metallic, soft-bristle brush to help keep dust and debris from settling into the fabric.
- Blot spills right away with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub, because rubbing can spread the stain or damage the fabric texture.
- Clean the full fabric panel from seam to seam when spot cleaning. Cleaning only the stained area can leave rings or uneven color.
