Cleaning Your DualTemp™ Layer

Your DualTemp layer has two parts: the active layer and its fan. Cleaning instructions will vary depending on the kind of DualTemp layer and fan you own.

Active Layer Cleaning Instructions

You will first need to check where your hose is located.

The hose is on the side near the middle of the bed.

  1. Spot clean with warm soapy water. We recommend using a gentle detergent, such as Woolite or dish soap.
  2. Air dry.
  3. To avoid damage, do not saturate, machine wash, dry clean, or tumble dry the active layer.

The active layer has a machine washable cover. The bottom half of the active layer and foam are spot clean only.

Cover Cleaning Instructions

  1. Unzip to remove cover.
  2. Machine wash on gentle cycle, using cold water and mild detergent.
  3. Air dry.

Active Layer Cleaning Instructions

  1. Spot clean with warm soapy water. We recommend using a gentle detergent, such as Woolite or dish soap.
  2. Air dry. Allow the foam to completely dry before putting back into the active layer.
  3. To avoid damage, do not saturate, machine wash, dry clean, or tumble dry the active layer.

DualTemp Fan Cleaning Instructions

Cleaning instructions vary by model.

Gray DualTemp Fan

  1. Wipe the outside of your fan with a clean, dry cloth.
  2. Use a vacuum attachment to vacuum the metal mesh and vents every three months. This prevents dust from building up and blocking air flow.

White DualTemp Fan

White DualTemp fan.

We recommend cleaning or replacing your DualTemp filters every six months. You can order replacement filters online.

  1. Remove the magnetic filter covers.
  2. Remove filters from the fan.
  3. Hand wash in warm soapy water. We recommend using dish soap.
  4. Rinse in clean water.
  5. Air dry before re-installing.
