Overview
Sleep Number® FlexFit™ 1, 2, and 3 smart adjustable bases include preset bed positions that can be controlled with the Sleep Number® app or Sleep Number® remote.
How to Control Preset Positions with the Sleep Number app
- Open the Sleep Number app.
- Tap Smart Bed > FlexFit Base.
- Available preset positions are listed in the tiles across the top of the screen.
How to Control Preset Positions with a Remote
Universal and 360 Remotes
- Press the "Head/Foot" button to get to the bed position screen.
- Press the "Star" button to open the "Custom Bed Position" screen.
- Use the up and down arrows to scroll through the preset bed positions. See the chart below for preset options by model.
- Press "Enter" to select a preset and the adjustable will adjust to the selected position.
Sleep Number® Smart Remotes
- Go to FlexFit base.
- Use the up and down buttons to move through the preset options.
- Press the center button to select the setting.

360 Mattress with a Traditional FlexFit Base
A 360 remote will not sync with the Traditional FlexFit base. The Traditional FlexFit base will have to be controlled by the Universal remote that previously controlled the base.
Troubleshooting
If a preset setting no longer appears on your remote, please follow the steps to reset your remote.
