What You Might Be Experiencing

  • Cannot see light under the bed when I press the UBL button on the remote.
  • Underbed light is not turning on.

Key Troubleshooting Steps

If your base underbed light won’t turn on, start by checking the essentials: confirm your remote has power and that the base is plugged in with a green light on the power supply. If the issue persists, checking connections, removing the mattress, and turning the base on its side will help you determine the solution.

See the detailed steps below for full troubleshooting.

What You Will Need To Get Started

Before You Begin

  • Make sure your remote has fresh batters and power by pressing any button to activate the backlight.
    • If the backlight does not illuminate, contact us for a replacement.
  • Remote Lock is not turned on.
    • When locked, the backlight will flash three times when any button is pushed, instruct the customer to press and hold the “Lock” button for five seconds to unlock.
  • Verify your base has power by confirming that the light on the power supply brick is glowing green.

Step 1: Unplug base(s) from the power source, remove the mattress and turn base(s) on side.

This will require 2 people.

  • Inflate both sides of the bed to 100.
  •  Disconnect the air hoses and cap off the air chambers.
  • Unstrap the mattress and remove it from the base.
  • King size bases: Remove the bed links at the head and foot before placing the base on its side.
  • Place the base on its side to access the underside.
    • Lift from one side until it rests securely on the edge.
    • One person should hold the base while the other checks the connections.

Step 2: Inspect the underbed light and cable.

Ensure it is securely connected to the control box and shows no signs of damage.

Step 3: Lay the base(s) back down, reconnect the power, and test the system.

Step 4: When to Contact Us
