Managing Sleepers in the Sleep Number® App

(Add, Remove, Switch Sides & Troubleshoot)

  • You can add a new sleeper, create logins, and switch sides of the bed directly in the Sleep Number® app.
  • Removing a sleeper requires contacting Customer Service for privacy and security reasons.
  • Most issues (e.g., “email already taken”) stem from duplicate accounts or pending email invitations.

What Are Sleeper Profiles?

Sleeper Profiles allow your Sleep Number® smart bed to track each sleeper’s comfort preferences and provide nightly SleepIQ® scores. Each sleeper can maintain their own login and personalized features (reminders, temperature programs, insights).

  1. Log in as the account owner.
  2. Go to the Sleep tab and select the sleeper’s name.
  3. Tap Profile → Account Settings
  4. If an email is pending verification, you can resend or cancel it to send an invitation to a different email address.

You can only add a sleeper if there is an open sleeper spot. Read Edit Sleeper Profile for steps to make changes to an existing profile.

How do I update the Smart Remote after making sleeper changes?

This forces the remote to refresh and display updated sleeper information.
