How to Control Your Underbed Light

SleepIQ app

Note: This functionality works whether logged in or logged out of the SleepIQ® app.

Logged In
  1. Log into the SleepIQ App
  2. Tap Smart Bed at the bottom of the screen
  3. Scroll to Underbed Lighting
  4. Switch the Underbed Light On or Off
  5. Select Low, Medium, or High to change the brightness level
Logged Out
You must be near your bed and have Bluetooth turned on in your device settings. Without logging in, there is no option to turn Auto on (only On or Off).
  1. Open the SleepIQ App
  2. Tap “Adjust Your Bed” at the bottom of the screen
  3. The App will scan for bed
  4. Tap your bed
  5. Scroll through
  6. Switch the Underbed Light On or Off
How to Set an Underbed Light Timer

  1. Turn the Underbed Light on.
  2. Tap "Start Timer" to choose a duration.
    • The durations are 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 Minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, and 3 hours.
  3. Remaining time shows how long until Underbed Light will turn off.
Underbed Light Auto

How to Set the Underbed Light to Auto​​ ​

  1. The bed must be online and you must be logged in to the SleepIQ app to use Auto. 
  2. Select Auto in the Underbed Lighting screen.
How Auto Works
  1. The Underbed Light will turn on when you get out of bed.
  2. The light will turn off automatically when you get in bed or after 10 minutes out of bed.​

 

Remote

How to Turn On the Nightlight
  1. Press Light Bulb button on the remote 
  2. With the white outline around Nightlight, press the Enter ​ 
    • A white light bulb will appear next to Nightlight when it is On  
    • Press Enter again on Nightlight to turn if Off ​ 
How to Set the Timer

(12-button remote only) 

  1. Turn on the Nightlight 
  2. Press the Timer button​ that looks like a clock 
  3. Press the Down Arrow button until the white outline is around Lighting 
  4. Press the Enter on Nightlight 
  5. Using the Up and Down arrows, scroll through the times available to choose a desired duration 
    • Times available are 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, and 3 hours 
    • You can also choose Exit
How to Check Timer Status

(12-button remote only) 

  1. Press the Timer button 
  2. Press the Down Arrow button to Timer Status and press Enter 
  3. The Timer Status screen will display the remaining time left on all active Timers that are set 
How to Turn Off Timer

(12-button remote only) 

  1. Turn on the Nightlight 
  2. Press the Timer button​ that looks like a clock 
  3. Press the Down Arrow button until the white outline is around Lighting 
  4. Press the Enter on Nightlight​ 
  5. Press the Down Arrow to Turn Timer Off and press Enter 
How to Change the Brightness Level
  1. Press the Home button 
  2. Press the Down Arrow button until you get to System and press Enter 
  3. Press the Down Arrow button to Settings and press Enter 
  4. Press Enter on Reset Preferences 
  5. Press the Down Arrow button until you get to Nightlight and press Enter 
  6. Use the Up or Down Arrows buttons to highlight Low, Medium, or High and press Enter 
  7. The remote will display the following message "An Underbed light setting has been changed. Would you like to keep this setting?" Press Enter on Yes save the change. 
    • Pressing Enter on No takes you back to the Brightness Level screen 

 

Night Light Controls: SleepIQ app

​Note: The Night Light feature is only available on the Legacy FlexFit 3.

Turn On/Off
  1. Log into the SleepIQ App 
  2. Tap Smart Bed at the bottom of the screen 
  3. Tap Night Light 
  4. Choose between the different settings of Off, Low, Medium, or High to turn it to
Set a Timer
  1. Turn on the Night Light 
  2. Tap Start Timer 
  3. Choose how long you would like the Timer to be set 
  4. Tap Set
