Can't Log In to the Sleep Number® App

When logging in to the Sleep Number® app, ensure you are using the email address and password associated to your smart bed.

Note for BreatheIQ™ users: Although we encourage you to create a BreatheIQ account using the same email address as your Sleep Number account, you may have created a BreatheIQ account with a different email. If this is the case and you are receiving a message in the Sleep Number app preventing you from being able to log in, you will need to log in to the Sleep Number app using the email address associated to your smart bed. If you are unsure which email address this is, please contact us.

Additional Troubleshooting steps

The Sleep Number app works best with the latest operating systems.

Compatible Operating Systems

For the Sleep Number app to work on your mobile device, your mobile device needs to be on the most up to date operating system.

  • iPhones: Compatible with iPhones and iPads running iOS 15.1 or later.
  • Android: Compatible with most Android phones and tablets equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 and running Android 10 or later.
  • If you are unsure about your device's operating system, please contact your device manufacturer or mobile provider for assistance.

For the full list of compatibility requirements, see Sleep Number app and Smart Bed Technology Compatibility Requirements.

  1. Check your operating system on your device and ensure you are updated to the latest version.
  2. Ensure you are on the latest Sleep Number app version.
  3. If you are not on the latest app version, update your Sleep Number app in the App Store or Google Play Store.
  4. Once your app is updated, try to log in again.

What happens if you cannot update the app version?

  1. If you cannot update your Sleep Number app due to operating system compatibility, and you do not have another device, you can still adjust your Sleep Number® smart bed using the Bluetooth remote in the app while logged out.
