How to resolve an ER error
ER is usually solved by making sure everything is plugged in properly. Set your remote down for now and let's get started!
- Unplug and re-connect the power cord to the fan. Make sure the flat side is facing up. The cord may buzz and cause ER messages if plugged in upside down.
- Unplug and re-connect the cord to the power brick. The power brick light will be green when getting power. If it is orange, re-check the connection to the fan. Contact us if the light is still orange after checking cord connection at the fan.
- Make sure the power cord is plugged into a grounded outlet or surge protector.
- Unplug and plug the power cord into the outlet. If the light on the power brick doesn't come on, continue to the next step.
- Check the outlet for power. Make sure the outlet isn't controlled by a switch. If you're using a surge protector, make sure it is switched on.
If these steps did not resolve your issue, then we will need to reset your DualTemp remote.
