Climate™ Series smart bed customers can utilize core cooling and/or heating to have your bed ready for sleep when you get into bed or regulate your temperature all night long with SmartTemp™ programs.
Overview
- SmartTemp Programs are tied to the sleeper. Each sleeper can set up their own program(s). The sleeper has to log in to the Sleep Number® app with their own credentials to view, add, edit, or delete programs.
- Note that the remote allows for manual temperature control only. SmartTemp programs cannot be accessed through the remote; you must use the Sleep Number app to access SmartTemp programs.
- If your temperature program has core warming in your falling asleep sleep segment, the bed will begin warming 30 minutes before the scheduled program start time.
- If your temperature program has core cooling in your falling asleep segment, the program will begin when you enter the bed.
- Foot Warming program: it will start warming up 30 minutes before the scheduled program start time and then cool down once the sleeper gets into bed after the start time.
- If a sleeper does not get into bed within 2 hours of the program start time, the program will stop for the night.
Steps
- Log into the Sleep Number app with your own login credentials. If you don't have your own login, you can easily add one. See Managing Sleepers in the Sleep Number® App.
- Select Smart Bed.
- Scroll down to SmartTemp Programs.
- Select a SmartTemp program that's right for you or create a custom program.
- Select which days you'd like your program to be on.
- Different programs can be created for different days.
- Make sure to choose Set Program to save your changes or use cancel to exit without saving your changes.
To Edit or Remove Programs
- To edit an existing program, select the program you would like to edit. Once you've made the adjustment, select Set Program to save the change.
- Edits made to an existing program may not be reflected until the next scheduled day.
- To delete a program, select the trash icon in the upper right corner.
Good To Know
- Foot warming is a feature available for Climate360® smart beds and FlexFit™ 3 smart adjustable bases.
- If a Sleep Number 360 smart mattress or Sleep Number Smart Mattress is paired with a Legacy adjustable base, the SmartTemp program may not work as designed.
- If you adjust your temperature settings while your program is running for the night, it will override your SmartTemp program for that night. Your program will continue as scheduled for future nights.
- Customers with multiple beds will be able to control SmartTemp programs without having to create a second login for the other bed(s).
