Steps

  1. Disconnect the magnets or straps attaching the mattress to the base.
    • WARNING For Magnets: When a mattress is not attached to the base, such as when transported or serviced, persons with medical implants should stay a minimum of 3 feet away from the magnets.
      • BEST PRACTICE: Place a towel between each magnet and receiver target as you detach them to keep separated.
        • Use your thumbs to push up on the edge of the magnets connecting the smart mattress and the base to disconnect.
        • To minimize the risk of a pinch injury, keep magnets away from each other and away from other metal objects.
        • Strong magnetic fields can damage electronics, electronic/magnetic storage devices, AV equipment, bank/credit/debit cards, etc.
  2. Undo the connections attaching the mattress to the base (located above the favorite button at the side of the bed).
