Overview
- Register your account and set up sleeper profiles before your delivery, so you're ready to control your bed with the Sleep Number® app and get your bed online.

Getting online gives you access to all the features and benefits of your bed, like Responsive Air® technology and tracking your SleepIQ® score.
What You'll Need
Your order number and the email address you used when you purchased your bed.
Check Sleep Number app compatibility requirements to ensure your device can support the Sleep Number® app.
- Download the Sleep Number app.

Open the Sleep Number app.
Choose Register New Smart Bed.

Enter your order number and the email address you used when you ordered your bed.
Seeing a message that your email and order number don't match?
- Check for typos to make sure everything was entered correctly. If that’s not the problem, choose "use phone number." Make sure to enter the phone number you provided when you placed your order.

Create your account password. Your password must contain at least 8 characters including at least 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 number and 1 special character.
Already have an account or adding another bed to your account?
Log in. You’ll pick up where you left off. If the app doesn’t prompt you to add sleeper profiles to your new bed, navigate to account settings to add sleeper profiles.
- Tap Profile > Account Settings (top right) > My Orders > Complete Registration > Name your bed.
- You can always change your bed's name by following How to Edit Your Bed Name or Time zone.
Add sleeper profiles for you and your sleep partner. Profiles are required for Sleep Number smart beds to track your sleep data.
Already have a sleeper profile on a previous bed?
- We recommend naming your new sleeper profile a little differently so you can easily tell them apart.
- When you're done registering your Sleep Number smart bed account, choose whether you want to opt-in to notifications and Sleep Science Research. Then check out the Sleep Number app to learn more about what to expect when your bed arrives.

Why can't I register my Sleep Number® bed?
Sleep Number smart bed accounts can only be registered by the original owner of the bed.
Can I transfer ownership of a Sleep Number® smart bed?
Currently, Sleep Number smart bed accounts cannot be transferred to a new owner.
Can I use the Sleep Number app with a used bed?
No. Used or secondhand beds cannot be registered in the Sleep Number app.
Do I need a Sleep Number account to use my bed?
You can still use basic bed functions available through your remote. However, app-based features require account registration and eligibility.
What if I don't know which email was used for my purchase?
Try the email address used when purchasing your bed. If you're unable to locate it, contact Customer Support.
