To pair your 360 Bed Remote, first find the pairing button on your pump or FlexFit Adjustable Base. Then wake the remote, go to Settings, select Pair Bed, and follow the on-screen prompts. Press and hold the bed’s Pair/Favorite button until it flashes, then wait for the Bluetooth icon on the remote to turn solid. Test the remote to confirm your bed responds.
When You Need to Pair Your Remote
Pairing is required if:
- You got a new remote.
- Your remote stopped working.
- Your bed is not responding to the remote.

Before You Start
- Bed is plugged in and powered on.
- You are near the bed (within 5–10 feet).
- Remote has working batteries.
Important
- Do not set the remote down until finished. The screen will go to sleep, and you will have to start over.

Note: If you have replaced your pump, you'll need to do a Factory Reset instead.
1. Start Setup
- Turn on your remote.
- When you see “Let’s get started,” press Enter.
- When asked if your bed has a Sleep Number® button -> Select Yes, then press Enter
2. Put Your Bed in Pairing Mode
- Locate the Sleep Number favorite button on the adjustable base (at the hip).
- Press and hold the button for 10 seconds.
- Wait until the light flashes blue and orange.
- On your remote, press Enter to continue.
Your remote will now try to connect to the pump.
Tip:
“At the hip” means where your hip rests when you’re lying in bed.
3. Follow On-Screen Prompts
- When prompted about power, press Enter (do not unplug your bed).
- When prompted to recalibrate:
- Press Enter to return the bed to flat.
- Press Enter again after calibration completes.
You can now adjust your bed position
4. Set Preferences
- Choose your underbed light brightness (Low / Medium / High).
- Press Enter to confirm.
5. Skip Optional Step (If Prompted)
- If asked to unplug/replug a DualTemp™ system -> Select Skip, then press Enter.
6. Clear the Bed
- Remove all items except bedding.
- Select Yes when asked, “Is the bed clear?”
7. Complete System Setup
- The system will set up SleepIQ® (takes under 30 seconds).
If you see an error:
- Blue screen error: Press Enter to continue.
- E13 error: Pump is offline → Press Enter to continue.
8. Finish Setup
- Press Enter when setup is complete.
Your remote is now paired and ready to use.
5-Button Step-by-Step Pairing Instructions
1. Start Setup
- Turn on your remote
- When you see “Let’s get started,” press Enter
- When asked if your bed has a button -> Select No, then press Enter
2. Confirm Remote Type
- When asked if this is a replacement or second remote -> Select No, then press Enter
3. Reset the Firmness Control™ System
- Unplug your Firmness Control™ System from the outlet.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Plug it back in.
- On the remote, press Enter to continue.
4. Pair Your Remote
- Your remote will attempt to connect to the pump.
If pairing fails:
- Unplug your bed.
- Plug it back in.
- Select Continue on the remote to try again.
5. Wait for System Sync
- You will see a DualAir™ technology screen.
- This step may take 6–7 minutes.
Important:
Do not set the remote down during this step, or you may need to restart.
6. Complete Initial Setup
- Press Enter when prompted to complete setup.
7. Skip Unneeded Steps
- When prompted to unplug the FlexFit system -> Select Skip and press Enter.
- When prompted about the DualTemp™ system -> Select Skip and press Enter.
8. Clear the Bed
- Remove all non-bedding items.
- Select Yes when asked, “Is the bed clear?”
9. Final System Setup
- The system will set up SleepIQ® (takes under 30 seconds).
If you see an error:
- Blue Sleep Server error: Press Enter twice to continue.
10. Finish Setup
- Follow prompts until you see “Set Up Complete!”

Why did my remote disconnect?
Power interruptions or low batteries can cause disconnects.
Can I pair a second remote?
Yes. Follow these same steps to add another remote.
Remote won’t pair?
Make sure you unplugged the system for the full 10 seconds. Then unplug and plug the bed back in before retrying.
Setup taking too long?
The DualAir™ step can take up to 7 minutes — this is normal.
Error screen?
Most setup errors can be safely bypassed with Enter.
Troubleshooting Pairing Issues
Remote won’t connect?
- Move closer to the bed.
- Replace batteries or charge the remote.
- Make sure no other remotes are pairing nearby.
Bed not entering pairing mode?
- Unplug the bed for 30 seconds, then try again.
- Check connections to the pump.
Still not working?
- Try pairing again from the beginning.
