Overview
Most often, an E3 bed position connectivity error means the FlexFit™ adjustable base isn't getting power.
The first step to fixing this error is identifying if you have a traditional FlexFit™ adjustable base or a 360 FlexFit™ smart base.
You have a traditional FlexFit™ 1, 2, or 3 Adjustable Base if:

- The control box (shown below) has a red light power switch.
- The pump is located on the floor under your bed.

You have a 360 FlexFit™ 1, 2, or 3 smart base if:

- Pump is housed inside the base
- There is a Sleep Number Favorite button (shown below) on the side of the base that returns your bed to flat
