Error codes: E13 (SleepIQ server error)

Applies to 360 smart beds purchased 2017–2026 with a Firmness Control™ System. Remotes are dark gray and have 5-, 10-, or 12-buttons.

What this error means

The E13 error means your smart bed is not connected to the server. This usually happens if your bed has not been set up yet or if your home Wi-Fi settings changed, such as your network name, password, or security settings.

 

What to do during remote setup

If you see E13 while setting up your remote, select Continue. You can finish remote setup first and connect your bed afterward.

 

If your bed is not set up yet

Set up your smart bed and connect it to Wi-Fi through the Sleep Number® app.

 

If your bed was already online

Reconnect your bed through the Sleep Number® app after any Wi-Fi changes, including a new network name, new password or updated security settings.

Tip: To help avoid this error in the future, keep your bed connected to your home Wi-Fi and update the connection any time your router, password or network settings change.
