Getting ready for us to pick up your bed? Follow these instructions to make sure you get the full credit for your return or exchange.
Before you start:
Plan to spend 15 minutes.
You'll need:
- White closure caps
- Caps are usually stored inside the base near the pump. If you do not have caps, visit your local Sleep Number store to pick up a set or order them online.
- A mattress bag (These are sold at any moving store.)
- A small box
Instructions:
- Use your remote or the Sleep Number® app to fill each side of the bed to Sleep Number® setting 50.
- Locate the hoses on each side of the mattress. They're near middle of the side.
- Reach into the slit to access the connection.
- Have your white closure caps ready before the next step.
- Push in the tab and gently pull to disconnect the hose.
- Quickly cap off the mattress air chamber port.
- Repeat on the other side.
- Disconnect the pump. If you have a Sleep Number base, the pump is located in the base.
- Box the pump. If you're returning a remote, make sure to include that with the pump.
- Bag the mattress and set it outside in a dry secure location. If it's a rainy day, make sure the mattress is left under a shelter, such as a garage or porch.
